Important information for Aetna patients:
I wish to inform you that effective January 1, 2009, I will no longer be
accepting the product that Aetna Insurance Health Plan refers to as
capitation. If you currently have myself or Family Health of Delaware
listed as your primary care physician, you should contact your
insurance to help you select another primary care provider.
However, if you want us to continue to care for your health needs on
January 1, 2009, you can view all the other insurances which we
currently accept. Simply follow the button marked "Insurance" on the
left-hand side of your screen.
Keep in mind that Aetna does offer other products, such as fee for
service, which we will continue to accept.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call the
office and speak with one of our office representatives to help you. You
can also submit your inquiry online by selecting the button marked
"Billing" on the left-hand side of your screen.

available to serve you in the future.

Shield Patients:
You may have received a letter informing you that Dr. Tonwe is no
longer participating with Blue Cross/Blue Shield health plans. And
furthermore, the letter may have requested or suggested that you
select another provider. Please, disregard this letter. This was a result
of a credentialing error which has now been resolved. Dr. Tonwe, Dr.
Brown, and Family Health of Delaware are still participating with Blue
Cross/Blue Shield. If you need additional information please call the
office or submit your inquiry using the "Billing" button located on the
left-hand side of your screen.
